What does the future hold and how can we get the best from technology?

Our Youngstock Convention on 6th March 2019, welcomed farmers, vets, producers and industry suppliers to enable a forum for knowledge transfer and networking throughout the chain. The event featured presentations by four speakers, a Q&A with our producer panel and an opportunity to network and share experiences. Topics covered included early life nutrition and its influence on lifestart genetics, the calf health checklist, enhancing welfare while reducing antibiotics used in calf rearing, and genomic testing as a tool in replacement heifer management. Our producer panel gave a valuable insight from different perspectives with plenty of questions from the floor and some valuable points to take away.

Thank you to everyone who gave up their time to attend and contribute; feedback has been really positive from all fields and we are already planning another event for you all in 2020; maybe one this autumn too!
