Our 2020 vision requires a change of venue to accommodate the increasing interest in this event. With over 160 attendees at 2019's event, we will be moving to De Vere Tortworth Court  for our 2020 convention to ensure that we provide the best event experience possible for our our guests. We again look forward to welcoming farmers, vets, producers and industry suppliers to facilitate a forum for knowledge transfer and networking throughout the chain. Our 2020 Youngstock Convention will run to a similar format as previously, with presentations by four speakers, a Q&A with our producer panel and an opportunity to network and share experiences. Last time topics covered included early life nutrition and its influence on lifestart genetics, the calf health checklist, enhancing welfare while reducing antibiotics used in calf rearing, and genomic testing as a tool in replacement heifer management. Our producer panel gave a valuable insight from different perspectives with plenty of questions from the floor and some valuable points to take away.

Confirmed topics for presentation: "Early Life Nutrition" - Georgina Thomas (Carrs-Billington), "Lung Scoring" - Sioned Timothy (Boehringer-Ingelheim), "Scour Prevention" - Kat Baxter-Smith (MSD Animal Health) and the "Biosecurity in the calf house" - Tim Brewer (Kilco International).
