Zoe conducts specialist youngstock visits to review protocols, discuss health issues and find ways to optimise productivity.
Our team of vet techs provide support in the form of youngstock visits for weighing, vaccinating and disbudding.
We run annual calf health discussion group meetings for Dairy and Calf Rearer clients, often including benchmarking data to track performance and identify problem areas.
Kat has focussed on Youngstock work for most of her career at the George Farm Vets and is well known within the industry for her expertise.
Much of her work includes training for clients and vets, speaking at regional and national events and providing content for agricultural and veterinary publications.
Kat regularly provides youngstock consultancy services for George Vet Group clients, and some further afield. Recently, one of the farms that Kat deals with in Yorkshire, Metcalfe Farms, won an award for Youngstock Health and Welfare at the Cream Awards.
