Theatre

We have a large, modern theatre, with two operating tables at our hospital in Malmesbury and two additional theatres at our branches in Nailsworth & Tetbury. They are all equipped with multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring equipment and heating aids.

Our theatre at the hospital has additional equipment such as laparoscopy, diathermy and suction, and is where we perform not only the routine surgeries but also more advanced soft tissue, orthopaedic, laparoscopic and emergency surgeries.

Kennels

We have a climate-controlled dog-only ward with comfortable bedding, options for privacy from other dogs and varying sizes of kennels. So, no matter what size your dog is, we can ensure that they have a comfortable stay.

Cat Friendly Practice

We are proud to be a silver level cat friendly clinic, accredited by the international society of feline medicine (ISFM). To achieve this award, we have several measures in place to ensure your cat’s visit to the vets is as stress-free as possible:

• A Cat-only ward: a modern, well-equipped, climate-controlled ward, designed specifically to reduce the stress of our hospitalised cats, and which is away from the dogs in our care, ensuring your cat has a comfortable stay.
• Cat-only waiting area at our hospital
• Cat-only appointments at our Tetbury branch
• The use of feline pheromone sprays and plugins to help reduce stress
• Areas to place your cat carrier above the floor level while you are waiting for your appointment with your cat
• Cat-specific equipment
• A trained ‘cat advocate’

Onsite Laboratory

We have a well-equipped diagnostic lab at our hospital, allowing us to run many tests in house, providing us with quick and accurate results around the clock. Examples include blood tests- including blood-gas analysis, urine tests and in-house microscopy.
