It is important to keep vaccines up to date for the health of your pet and those in the local area. Consultation Fees
Initial Consultation Fee
Initial consultations with our vets are for the times when you have a concern about your pet or you think they might be unwell. It involves a thorough examination, and the vet may recommend medications or investigations at an additional cost – these will be discussed with you at the time of the consult, before any investigations are performed or any treatment dispensed.

Follow up Consultation Fee
Follow up consultations are for ongoing appointments for the same condition. For example, if we saw your pet for an initial consultation for an ear infection, and we then recommend a recheck at the end of a medication course, the recheck will be charged as a “follow on”.

Medicines Review
It is our practice policy to see your pet every four months for a ‘repeat prescription consult’, once they are on a long-term medication. This is important as these regular checks allow us to monitor their health through their weight, an examination and recent history. We also check for any side effects and ensure this treatment is still the best option for them.
